The ‘lived experience’ of the nurse when caring for the families of critically ill patients

To date, there have been no published qualitative studies looking solely at the experiences of nurses when caring for the relatives of critically ill patients. This phenomenological study involved exploring the experiences of critical care nurses in three intensive care units in the North West region.
