An enquiry into the views of a group of primary health care professionals on the decontamination of reusable medical devices within general practice.
The effective decontamination of reusable medical devices is an important aspect of health
care. However, recent studies and audits have indicated that decontamination practice in
some instances can be poor leading to the potential of cross infection between patients or
between patients and staff.
